The billing policy of Fidelis Translation Services is in line with the field standards in effect.

The rates for translations are determined on the basis of the number of words contained in the text, its technical level (the more the text has terms that necessitate research, the higher the rates), and the deadline (a shorter time to translate the text means higher translation costs). We count the number of words from the source text with the « Word count » tool in MS Word.

Concordance and bitext creation are charged at an hourly rate.

Definition of regular clients

A regular client is defined by Fidelis Translation Services as a person, an organization, or an enterprise that has entrusted translation work to us at least 5 times.

Translations amounting to more than CAN$1000 or US$850

Fidelis Translation Services will wait for a first instalment, equal or superior to 25% of the established rate before starting the work. The final payment is required when the work is forwarded to the client.
